Caleb Scholten – Rod Shoveller Memorial Award
Second-year guard Caleb Scholten was named the 2025-2026 recipient of the prestigious Rod Shoveller Memorial Award. The award is given annually to a student athlete in the ACAA who best exemplifies leadership, sportsmanship, and community mindedness.

In addition to being a talented guard, Scholten excels in the classroom and spends his limited free time giving back to the New Maryland Faith Baptist Church, Horizon Health Network, and campus initiatives like the raffle in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fredericton and Oromocto and the Tommies food drive.
